Celebrating 175 years of cricket in 2013

Earls Colne CC -
founded in 1838.
(See the story here under SOCIAL LIFE toward the end of the piece)
Under the chairmanship of Les Abbie (pictured above) there is a vigorous campaign to recruit player old and young, as well as encouraging helpers at all levels and in all departments to get involved with the club. There is much to do - Junior teams to run, ground to prepare, funds to raise, and much much more.
Earls Colne CC are very pleased to be sponsored by the Riverside Spice restaurant - all players already have their shirts sporting the Riverside Spice logo alongside the Earls Colne CC 'bunny' logo
We play our home games at Green Farm Meadow, where Earls Colne Recreation club is situated.
Following the recent withdrawal from Saturday league cricket, games are now arranged as follows...
Our League XI plays on Sunday in Division 3 of the local Piri Piri league.
Our second side - 'Earls Colne casuals' plays friendlies against local non-league opposition.
We have Kwik cricket (Under 11) and colts teams (see the Colts Section tab above)
We play Indoor cricket (in the winter) as part of the Braintree Indoor Cricket League
